Before your session
- Avoid tanning and self-tan for at least 4 weeks.
- Do not wax, thread or epilate; shaving is fine.
- Shave the area 24 hours before your appointment.
- Tell your practitioner about any new medicines.
After your session
- Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 50 sunscreen every day.
- Avoid hot showers, saunas and intense exercise for 24 to 48 hours.
- Skip exfoliating products on the treated area for a few days.
Most people need a course of 6 to 8 sessions for the best long-term reduction.
