The consultation
Your doctor assesses your facial structure, skin quality and goals, reviews your medical history and explains which areas would benefit and how much product may be needed.
On the day
Treatment usually takes 30 to 45 minutes. A numbing cream may be applied, and most fillers also contain a local anaesthetic.
Afterwards
- Mild swelling, tenderness or bruising is common for a few days.
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours and heat, saunas or steam for 48 hours.
- The final result settles after about two weeks.
